Well, then 19's (possibly specific wheels only) fit any 991. I'm not aware that there are any bigger brakes than the PCCBs.

I understand if it's your own IP, but do you mind sharing what wheels you used?

The guys that got to run RedList/Famoso were lucky as we had record low DA (negative 1,000 feet) from very high air pressure and cold temps, plus a tailwind up to 15mph. My buddy with an intake, catback and e85 fuel system + tune on his otherwise bone stock GTR went 138.6 mph.

That same GTR could only trap 132 at Fontana in August at nearly 1 mile high DA...although that track also runs uphill with a headwind. I went 10.29 at 133.4 that day with my 997.2.

DA can make a big difference.
Agree, the bad news for me is we only have one 1/4 mile track in the island and the DA is pretty much the same all year long

But I know we can get better ET if we try other tires, hopefully better traps too... In the case of our 1/2 mile thr airport is right in front of the beach and have better DA

We used oem 997.2 center lock wheels.

But it's not the brakes you need to worry about clearing, the wheels clear those with room to spare. It's the lower control arm....it's extremely close. I would not recommend regular driving on those wheels but for a few passes down the 1/4, they'll work.

Jeff:
What is the exact size of R888 you're running on your rear wheels?

Next up will be Ga half mile and the same holds true as far as altitude. Maybe I can squeeze in a quarter mile between the two races.

Jeff
I will be at Wannagofast Virginia. No one will break any records at the airstrip's 4000 foot elevation but it should be a fun time all the same. Looking forward to seeing you there.
You going to Tx2K?

Too bad about the control arm clearance. Means I will stick with 20s. Kudos for buying development cars for testing to perfect your package prior to its release to the public.

Why does it mean you'll stick with 20's? You've had a lot of launch problems... this is a big jump forwards (literally).

I'm not sure what the tire size is on the 888's as I had Vengeance order them. I'll be at VA and will link up with you there. I'm bringing the 918 as well..
