My Slipstream 1/2 Mile Results and Pics!!!
Last weekend I attended slipstream's half-mile invitational event at mid State airport in Phillipsburg Pennsylvania. About 50 other people attended. The event could've sold 300 but was kept small as this was the first try of the event at the airport. There will be a much bigger event in July by slipstream at the airport.
I took my son Victor and together we weigh about 420 pounds. I didn't take any weight out of the car as I figured given that there wasn't much point. Set forth below is an image provided to me by slipstream of the data from all of my runs. I was Car 183. Best trap was 161.4. Best quarter mile ET was 10.5. Also here are some fun pictures from the event of my car:

Oh NOOOOOO!!! A front license plate on a TTS at the drag strip; say it ain't so! Probably would have run the 1/4 in the 8s without the plate. Maybe even 7s, with the improved drag coefficient and weight reduction. Take off that plate and make your car faster!

Scott, it was great having you and Victor out. It looks like the two of you had a good time and played down some consistent numbers.
For everyone interested, here are many more pictures from the event. I have over 1000 that I need to load to our website over the weekend.

Are you in DFC or LIEC?

And if you ever get stuck in a cash lane on any of the TBTA Bridges without a front plate that's almost your ticket. My car got one of those when someone else was driving it when I didn't have a front plate.
