Atco - Ran a 10.275 @135.21 in my 570S!!
Guys - after my last three rentals got rained out, I jumped on a rental today at Atco. Sadly, I never made it down with my C7 Z06, but I took my McLaren 570S today. John Morgan finally made it down after a hell of a morning (gets an A++ for effort alone). Lots of great cars, AMG's M's, Vettes. Good crowd of car guys.
Rough morning - just couldn't get a good launch - a bunch of high 1.9's. Then I started launching from the concrete pad just to clean the tires off. And it made my real launches much stronger.
Couldn't believe when I saw the slip - a 10.275 @ 135.21 on a 1.672 60' time. Backed it up with a 10.422 @ 135.40 on a 1.789 60' time and a bunch of 10.5's and 10.6's.
Car is stock on Pirelli PZero Corsas dropped to 29 PSI and with $20 worth of 103 octane mixed with my 93 octane pump gas. (I used alot of gas during my 20 or so runs).
Before today, I knew the 570S had insane top end speed (maybe gearing, but it hauls at higher speeds), but I knew it would never leave the hole like my 991 TT could. Was just hoping to run as well as my 991 TT did back in the fall (10.8 @ 128 mph). Was shocked at how it ran.
Now - what mods? Cobb? Are you listening?

Whoa congratulations! That is smoking. Stage III fast! Makes a lot of sense now because those cars were giving some of our stage two guys a hard time on the top end! Sounds like a fun day. Can't wait to hear more stories. John is a trooper yeah, I heard about his morning but haven't heard sense.

I don't have many pics. Have a video of my 10.511 run today, though. Thousands of pictures moving quickly.

WOW!!

What the heck does the 650S and LT run then!!
I am going to have to be running E85 all the time now just to hold my own on the streets verses these new STOCK cars on pump!
I was hoping to keep my VTG's until next year, but the way it looks I might have to upgrade to some 3076's sooner then I wanted too!
Congrats she is running hard!

Not surprised at all. I'm full stage 2 on my TTS and I did some 2/3 gear pulls with a friend and his (bone stock) 570S and it was neck and neck up to 105 and then he may have started to walk me if we kept going.
Once they get going, Mclarens are no joke!
