If not EP it is hard to beat the quality of GMG. GMG would be my other choice. You may want to listen to the Kline set up as well.

After all the exhausts I've had, I'm really happy with the Kline "Loud" that I have. It's louder than Europipe or the regular Kline, but has absolutely no drone. I'm using 100-cell cats with no CEL after several hundred miles.

I like the GT2RS tips, but I bet they'd make it however you want. It fits a 991.2 TTS apparently, since the exhaust systems are identical.

It's really hard to find something more aggressive but without drone.

Does the Klein directly bolt on and use factory tips as the Europipe might?

Does the gmg have any drone and is also a direct bolt on? Tips as well?

Cost difference?

Build quality?

I've heard good on both just not on .2's yet

Hey Jeff. I have gotten the gents at Kline to set me up with several By Design configurations to fit my customers various requirements. They are all modular so you can switch between cats (HJS 100 or 200) and decat. So there are even more options than the last time we spoke when you got your second 991! I would be glad to help you out if you like and always offer my SamboTT Guarantee! From mild to wild, SS to Inconel 625 I am stocked up! All with the signature Kline Jekyll Hyde personality. With the equal length headers we have really achieved some amazing tunes and happy customers. I think everyone will vouch for the top notch quality and factory tips bolt right up. We have several 991.2's running around and they LOVE it!

Cheers

I have the GMG on my 991.1 TT with quad tips.

It could be louder IMO, but I'm happy with my selection, quality of the bits and overall performance increase, too. The exhaust does crackle in sport mode when you let off the go pedal .. I like that alot. Plus, when you put your foot in it .... WOW !

I personally have not had any experience with GMG. Before deciding on Kline I did consider many different exhaust systems...including GMG. I'm using the factory quad tips with the Kline system and it fits perfectly. Aside from the gain in performance and the sound of the exhaust.....it looks stock. Cost wise...I can't really compare, since GMG is SS and the setup choose to run with is Inconel (much lighter in weight). Build quality......I love it!

I have full set + headers from Kline (inconel) via Sam. Had no idea a turbo can sound this good. Search for my review on this forum

To my ears, the Tubi street was barely louder than stock.

It isn’t, I’ve heard them side by side and the Europipe is louder which is obvious because we don’t use sound dampening material. And no perforated tubes and no X either.

That's great! I'm really surprised though. Christian at Kline and Sam have said they were waiting for feedback to make a second one. To those of us in the states, maybe we don't realize how close Belgium and Romania are. Perhaps I've been too slow.

I'm also interested in your statement that all chambered systems are, by definition, louder than a perforation/damped design. I've had a few systems on the car now that must not be what they appear to be, if that's the case.

Stef, do you have any SPL measurement equipment? Do you use a-weighted, c-weighted or flat?

I can comment that with much persuasion to step away from their signature spectrum of sound level, the gents at Kline really delivered on that system. Their core values and design/quality have created a very popular system. After your review Chris there's been some demand for the "loud" custom prototype we made you so in fact there are 5 more of the systems headed my way to meet requests. It will be a signature By Design set up from the turbo to the RS tips for those who want something a little more aggressive while still having that warm blanket of drone-less character range and performance Kline's design affords. Personally, I pride myself in the variety and options combined with a guarantee and full support so my guys are 100% satisfied!

If it helps anyone, Porsche has made changes in the turbine alloy on the VTG for the first time as well as the exhaust side in the heads to cope with new demands from the cars new features. This combined with adjustments in the calibration make it so that the new .2 cars are little smoother sounding for lack of a better term and don't pop as much. I think several manufacturers are stepping back a little on the over run causing aggressive character and we are seeing that in makes like Audi, Ferrari and hopefully soon Jaguar lol. It's often described in car brochures as "character" and some love it while some hate it. With an exhaust upgrade they are going to just sound even better

Cheers

SO, while i haven't given Fabspeed a thought as in 2003 i went thru 2 bad cats with EVO on my 996turbo I've stuck with europipe i want to go louder but not obnoxious with an exhaust AND the .2 computer is dumping fuel and creating different sounds out of the car so no one really knows unless they have done side by side comparisons...
looking at fabspeed
GMG
Klien 70MM NO headers, at this point
Tubi race but i think I'm a cat guy.
wish i could hear them one after another

I love my europipe. It chill around town. When you hit the gas the exhaust opens up! Amazing character.
