Tried to find some info, couldn't find much. Anyone done a standing mile yet? Dad has a 991 turbo S cab on order and wants to be able to do 200 mph. Have chatted with sambo a bit on what it may take. but was curious if anyone has gotten there.

what have people done stock?

 

I did 190.2mph with Cobb Stage 3 and a 25mph tail wind.

200mph is going to require Stage 4, 68mm turbos, meth and possibly more.

The wind resistance at 200mph is insane.

 

My .2 S did 159mph in the 1/2 mile stock on 93 octane no slope , not many places to get a mile run in. It will take quite a bit to get to 200 in a standing mile but the .2 def seems to have a good bit more juice up top than the .1 did stock vs stock.

 

yea, that's what it sounds like. 190 is impressive!

 

Depends on alot of factors altitude and airdensity, windspeed and direction where are you going run it at? I would think a stock car would run maybe high 170's maybe 180 with no winds at sea level on a 75-80 degree day.
