2017 Turbo S - New Pricing off Sticker

What is fair price % off sticker for order car - not on lot - 2017 Turbo S ? I don't want to beat anyone up or visa-versa just. You guys seem way more up to speed than I am. Thanks in advance. Rich

1% is about all you'll get unless you've bought several cars from them in the past.

interesting 1%. I thought I was doing good at 2.5% - your right I am a previous buyer of 911's at this dealer - but on another thread someone said 5% is not to difficult for new turbo s. love the knowledge sharing either way.

8K off , so that is roughly 5% - and you indicated you built that not a lot car? - how long ago if I may ask?

I got $7K off from a build car, but i have history with sales manager.
Same dealer got someones car in last week, but the guy couldn't get financed so now the car is for sale. They will hold at MSRP. The 991.2 TTS a TT are still very hard to find on the floor.

mine was a 2015 and it was about 20 months ago. I walked in talked directly to the sales manager and asked him for the best price he told me 8k off, and I said order it.

the back story is another dealer 20miles away and closer to me, would only give me 1k off and wouldnt even let me drive one so I called my buddy up and asked who he used for his cars, so me and my wife drove up asked for Dave the sales manager told him what I was looking for and asked me if I wanted to drive one I said of course, he took my license and gave me the keys and said you guys go for a drive be back in 45 minutes and gave me a warning of where the cops like to hide and said have fun. Well after ripping ( test driving ) the car around and doing a few Launch control starts like 1/2 dozen of them we brought the car back and promptly ordered one right there.

My 2015 Turbo S Cab had a discount of 7.42%. I do things a little different. Ask the dealer what he wants to make on the car as I order a lot of options. Why should dealer make extra $ on all the options I order vs somebody that orders a fairly barebones car. They wanted 7,500.00. MSRP was 230,980.00 with an invoice of 206,341.00 so paid 213,841.00. Discount was 17,139.00. I have purchased over 2 dozen P-Cars from my dealer since first in 1979.

I worked a 10 yr agreement with my dealer to get 5% off of all speciality cars such as the GT3, RS, 911R, and so on. I will make an offer on any other car such as a turbo S as I always order my cars.

I got 5% off of my custom ordered 2017 TS in February of 2016. 2nd car I bought from the dealer/salesman (1st new car though).

Shouldn't be hard to get 5% or more off a 17 on a lot at the end of September. Keep shopping otherwise.

I got 2.1% plus the trade-in sales tax credit for the private sale of my former 911. I live at altitude, so turbochargers benefit here more than usual. The 991.2 has been sold out for the year for a month or two.

If you've made several purchases from a dealer, live in a region where they're harder to sell, buy a dealer's spec instead of custom ordering, or are willing to have the car shipped at your cost you should be able to find ~5% without a lot of trouble. If none of those apply, 0-2.5% seems to be the norm.
