2017 Turbo - to Burmester or not?
what I learned here last year is that PDCC is always on.
the PDCC button is just a stiff chassis setting. I leave it off all the time because it makes the drive much smoother. I would probably turn it on for the track, but that's about it.

I did a side by side and the bose reminds me of music played through a walkie talkie. The burmester reproduces the female voice like she's in the room, the bose reproduces the same voice like a bad recording.
The difference is amazing. I'm checking the box too on my first 911. Still circling on color.

Very smart decision. The sound quality isn't even close. The Burmaster is the single best OEM car system I've ever had in any car I've owned or leased. Is even good days. It's not boomy/shaky like a sub woofer but it's definitely tight and strong and defined. Every time I get in my E 63 and listen to the Harmon Kardon I'm shocked by how much better the Burmester in my 911 Turbo S is.

Same here, Burmeister wins hands down in the 911, but in my E63S I preferred the no cost Harmon Kardon over the pricey B&O.

Late to post on this sorry.
I have the Bose in my 997.2 TTS and Burmester in my 991 TTS. I drove both back to back and I couldn't tell a huge difference.
The overriding factor is that the acoustics on this car sucks *****. So the system isn't going to fix that.

The Burmester in my 991TTS is amazing to both my ears and the local audio lab's. Hands down the best manufacturer-installed stereo I've ever had.

You guys need to read this thread. At $3700, Burmester is a great deal. This thread is funny as ****.

The most realistic one was the guy pointing out you are paying 1/3 of a million for a car so why doesn't it come equipped with decent sound at a decent price? Clearly a $3700 Burmester is a good deal but with Ferrari, even the stitching is pricey. Course Porsche loves to overcharge for stitching too. But the OP compared it to something in a low end Honda, LOLOL!

I'm no audiophile or expert but I actually like the Harmon Kardon in the E63S since I found the right setting for my taste.
Try +6 Treble, +9 Bass, 0 Balance, -3 Fade : Pump-up the volume and Rock-on !
I have not found the correct setting on the Burmeister yet, any suggestion for mostly Rock ?
