These cars short shift 1st and some times second, very common, the thing is if you try and hold the gear longer manually it makes no difference on the time,

So did you see the plots? I can hear it in Scott's car really well. Pretty much the 60ft time is the 1st gear shift point judging from the Vbox data. Mine is showing a 42mph terminal speed for 60ft and the 1.7s shift times are what I am seeing in the graph. So I looked at your 9.71 and you had a 1.43 60ft so that is really pushing it to get out of first. Didn't you have some PDK damage or am I thinking of someone else?
Scott, was that you driving in all those shots? You seemed to have pretty good reaction times.
