Newest addition to the stable

I just traded my 750 hp M5 for a 991 Turbo S.
The M5 was a lot of fun! M5 was sportier and faster than the RS6 but I still like the RS6 much more.
So that is why I thought I buy another Porsche as I really like the look and the performance of the 991 Turbo S

I will test it the next couple of days but so far it only has summer tires on and it is pretty cold in Germany so I cannot really test it. On Thursday I get Winter tires and then I hope I can test it a little better.
But car feels very nice and the look is just amazing.

Looking forward to modify the car!

Happy holidays everybody

Dan

You will love the 991 Turbo S. I also had a F10 M5 previously. The traction and exit speed make the Porsche more fun!

I also just traded my F10 M5 in after 8 months and $30k loss for the Turbo. M5 was a Dinan S2 and was definitely faster on the freeway but it doesn't compare to the 991T from a dig, and pure driving satisfaction. Congrats!

Congratulations on your purchase, great choice! I did the same thing about a month ago,and purchased a 2015 911 turbo s in black just like yours..
I also have a BMW 650i xdrive and a Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera, but they have been sitting in the garage since the Porsche arrived..

Your going to love it, and when you get ready to do some performance mods, there is so much to choose from..enjoy!!

Thanks. Yes M5 is faster on the Autobahn when above 100 mph. But overall I like the TTS already more

Yes. I think it is the perfect combination. The only other option would have been white for me.
Thanks

It is just funny how many people change from the M5 which is for me a total different car style to the TTS. If I did not like my RS6 more than the M5 I probably would have kept the M5 and add the TTS but to have 2 big sedans and a big SUV did not make much sense.
So far I am very happy with the decision!

I find it odd too.

In my case the TTS actually replaced my Jaguar F-Type R.

However I also sold my M5 at the same time because I didn't want to hold an F10 chassis on the cusp of accelerated depreciation due to the new model. The M5 will be replaced soon either by the M550 xDrive or the E63 4MATIC+.

Yes Jaguar F-Type R is closer to the Porsche bodystle than the M5. I am sure you are also very happy with the change.

I personally would probably change to the E63 4MATIC+ it is an amazing car. I am waiting until the station wagon comes out but I think I will then also buy an E63!

Did you test the M550 or the E63?

Haven't driven either because they aren't out yet.

The sedan is for my wife who cares more about safety than performance which is why M550 is probably the better choice. The E63 would be great but it seems the US will only get the S version which I think is a bit too much power and risk for my wife. Next gen M5 is out of consideration because BMW won't fit autonomous collision avoidance tech to it.

So may do M550 for a couple of years and then swap it for a new style Panamera Turbo.
