I'm close to pulling the trigger on some forgeline wheels. In order to do that, I'd like to know what tire will be going on these wheels. Eventually the car will be a stage 4 or similar, so I'm planning ahead I was thinking R888. For an everyday tire, Michelin Pilot Super Sports were fantastic on my GTR. But considering this 911 will be more or less a toy, not being daily driven or getting caught in the rain, I'm looking for more performance/grip than the MPSS.
So, for all of you upgraded turbo guys out there, what tires are you running? How do you like them?

Thanks in advance for any input.
For launch traction R888 would be the ticket, the issue is not made in front sizes. For tracks Trofeo'r or sport cup 2's or Dunlops maxx
I run R888 as a daily driver and find it excellent..they are a little noisy at speed with a sort of harmonic but very comfortable and responsive..bottom line they work just fine as a street/strip tire

Depends on your climate too. Some people love the new Michelin Cup2 and on the .2's at least the new P-Zero has been impressive. But the Toyo R888 can do it all with slight comfort compromise.
I'm hearing great things about the Trofeo R not only on the track but also launching upgraded Turbo 991's. ES Motors just threw a set on their U.K. car and so far they have been very impressed with the straight line traction over the stock PZeros.

I am putting the new Porsche OEMs on mine. That's the PZero N1. People with the .2s are cutting good 60ft times with these tires so I think I am going to give them a try. I don't have garage space luxury for two sets of tires and I don't want to try and drive on "streetable track" tires.

+1 to this . I have yet to have a 60ft time that was > 1.6 even on a non prepped surface, in fact just did a 1.52 60ft this weekend when it was 50 degrees out for a 10.28 @ 132.6mph( try launching on an r888 when 50 degrees , see ya!). Having used R888's as a track tire on my Z4M their grip while high intially goes off considerably very quickly with heat cycles and are horrible when temps are below 60 degrees or in any rain. Not really a good option for daily driving period IMHO. N1 Pzeros are hard to beat for a street tire >>>>>>> than PSS and comparable compound grip wise to a Sport cup 2.
