On The Hunt For A 991TTS! What options are a must?

Hey guys,

Looking for a 991 tts at the moment and I'm curious what options are a must to get. Thoughts? I'm gonna guess the moderators will move this thread as well to the for sale section like my last post lol.

Do a search man. Lots of threads with this same topic. You'll find what you're looking for.

I think factory aerokit is definitely an option to look for as well as Sport Chrono being a must.

Curious to see what you are going to do with a 991

The 991 TTS offers lots of standard equipment that's optional on other models, including the turbo. To me, some of the nice options for the TTS include:

- Extended leather package for the interior, including the steering column
- Burmester sound system, with online services
- 18-way adaptive sport seats (standard on the cabrio, not the coupe)
- Front seat ventilation
- ParkAssist
- PAS

Two options that I have but would not miss are:

- Power folding side mirrors
- Voice control

Good luck with the hunt!

Thank you for the feedback! Is the Burmester sound system that much better than the Bose?

Yes, not even close. It is worth the delta. For me, a Porsche without Burm is now a dealbreaker for me.

There home audio setups start around 100K...

Burmester is much better than Bose. If you're not a audiophile or you only listen to talk radio, then it probably doesn't matter. I find it to be a very nice option. I mentioned online services because it greatly enhances the functionality of the nav system.

I just bought my TTS 3 months ago. For me the Burmester and ventilated seats were both deal breakers. With you in Lost Wages, the ventilated seats should be a requirement.

In a Panamera or Cayenne it makes more sense than a 911... IMO.

Naturally those who have it will likely disagree.

I think the Burmester sound system makes a bigger difference in the cab than it does in the coupe. Cabriolets have always been difficult from a sound quality perspective, especially with deep bass. The Burmester system does a nice job with this; it sounds great even with the top down.

Just drive a coupe with the Bose and you'll know right away. I'm not really an audiophile but it was truly awful. Knew at that point the Burmester was a must have.
