Refinishing HRE P101. Which color?
Going to refinish my P101 from polish to either gloss black or satin bronze or ....
wanted to to see what the consensus would be on what would look best on my new 991.2 tts. Normally I wouldn't do gloss but with the gloss black aero kit and black top I think gloss black would be the safest bet.
Only reason I am considering a different color is so they don't look like OEM wheels. Let me know what you guys think and if you think I should go with a different color or texture let me know which one.

gunmetal or classic bright silver (high gloss).
i actually think the p101 would look amazing with the partial brushed aluminum finish (like the oem turbo wheel) based on its spoke design.
for sure high gloss black will 100% be safe and will look good.

We have over 80 finishes to select from, so it can be daunting to select just the right finish. I agree though, Gloss Black would be a good choice as it works well with the other Gloss Black pieces on the car. Me on the other hand, being that it's a white car, would probably do something flashy as currently my HRE's are Frozen Polished Dark Clear and Brushed Purple, but of the more subtle and classy finishes, this is probably more along the lines of what you're looking for:
Brushed Titanium:
Brushed Dark Clear:
Brushed Clear:
Satin Bronze - Thought I would throw this in specifically for cliffd

Wheels we finish with a GLOSS clear coat instead of SATIN appear darker. An example would be looking at the difference between Satin Charcoal which you see above, and Gloss Charcoal which you see here:
Despite the Gloss Charcoal looking slightly darker, it's the same powdercoat which is applied, only the clear coat changes. Aside from Gloss Black, the darkest finish we have is going to be Gloss Charcoal. I would say Brushed Dark Clear, but because the aluminum shines from underneath the coating itself, it makes it look lighter especially in sunlight. Here's an example of how dark and how light our Brushed Dark Clear can get in different lighting:
