488 vs TTS dilemma
#16
You know what I'm gonna say so don't read the below if you are in a sensitive mood haha.
Keep the 488, and drive it whenever you need an injection of adrenaline, dump that lame i3 and replace it with a new TTS ---> get it tuned and get your a** back out to the airstrip dammit!!!

I have to say I have not regretted dumping the TTS for the Cali T HS. Sounds better, drives better and looks better. Not as fast off the line but the car makes up for it above about 50 when it has better grip. The HS package on the Cali T is a great option but a lot of Ferrari people don't much care for it. I have driven mine 3000 miles since March.
I have the full electric seats with the ventilation and heating. Use them both all the time and I love dropping the top which I couldn't do with the TTS. When I sit in the 488 or the 458 I noticed that the wheel well forces your left leg in and so that may be part of the back pain. The Cali doesn't have that issue and I don't think the F12 does either but I haven't sat in one of those. I am thinking about a swap to F12 next year or maybe a Portofino. I know I won't look at cars with racing seats, seems way too uncomfortable.
Funny thing though, haven't seen any retired women driving a California lately. Actually I rarely see Ferraris around town. My neighbor just starts his up but doesn't drive it, sad.

Sorry to hear about your back problems. I also have them but to a much lesser degree. I have a gaggle of cars, see my signature, & each one gives me a different enjoyment. My ego likes to drive the 488 but the best, easiest to drive, most comfortable car is by far the Turbo S. Maybe go for the F12 or Superfast. I traded my F12 on the 488. It was way more comfortable than the 488 but still not as comfortable as the Turbo S. Plus I think you can steal an F12. Good luck in whatever you finally decide.

488 & 911 tts
I’ve owned the Huracan, Mclaren 650s, and now have the 2017 911 TTS Cab and the 488 Spider. Of all the cars my favorite go to car is the 911TTS. Bottomline it’s a no fuss fun car to drive that still gets attention but not as much as the others. I agree that the 488 is a classic fun ride that drives like any car on the road when in automatic and then tears the canyon roads when pushed, but there’s something to be said for the simplicity of the 911 TTS experience. It’s a rock solid car that won’t let you down and even in stock form lays waste to many cars out there. It’s also easier to get in and out of if that is an issue.

I would keep the Ferrari!! I daily drive my 458 and have nearly 40k miles on it. I also drive a modded Huracan (which is extremely loud) to the office. Yea, you get your fair share comments at the office, but who cares. I don't, I own the Company, and work my butt off daily for it.
Keep it and enjoy the intoxicating experience it offers!
