I thought you guys would find this thread on the Ferrari forum interesting. Sorry in advance for starting a sh_t storm.

Something was profoundly wrong with that 991 Turbo S. It basically died right after the start

Yes the 911 looked like it went into limp home mode right after launch or maybe that infamous hose popped off and it lost all of its boost

Ummmm, NO! The TTS won't fall flat on its face like that...but rather will decimate the 488 off the line, and then some.

We'll see soon enough Mark. All I can say is the 488 feels like a monster. May not be as fasts as it feels, but oh my God. I just got back from a drive and the car is incredible fast. Absolutely NO turbo lag. Lot's of fun!!!

It's got 90-110 more hp than a 991-1 or 991.2 and its lighter and 2wd. I would expect a stock TTS to beat it from 0-80 then the 488 to motor on by.

Just as clarification, a stock 911-1 TTS's runs high 140's to low 150's in the half. My GIAC Stage 2 tuned TTS with race exhaust and race gas ran 158 at the last event. and I absolutely destroy stock 911 turbo's. I have no idea what the 488 would trap, but 158 doesn't sound unrealistic.
