RedGutz 991 Turbo S with Champion Motorsports Turbo Upgrade Drag Races Many Cars
Raced my Champion/GIAC turbo upgrade/no meth 991 Turbo S in the quarter mile against many cars at the Driving Force Club runway race event. I used rear R888 tires but I was not able to get race gas.
There is a BIG dropoff in power between my car using 93 octane and its 607 wheel hp tune and its race gas 655 wheel hp tune. Won most of my races but not as dominating as with race gas and no passenger. A 650s pulled on me at speed which never happens with race gas and a 991.2 Turbo S out launched me and I could not catch up and he told me he was stock. Had a great time. Definitely a lesson on the power of race gas and the race gas tune.
Here are the videos:
Huge defeat by 1100 wheel hp Alpha 12X:
Neck and Neck with McLaren 650s:
Defeats Aventador SV:
Defeats Huracan Performante:
Defeats Tesla S:
Defeats Huracan:

Defeats 997 Turbo:

Great vids Scott...glad to see the car still out there running laps!
Race gas does make a really nice difference, it's a shame there wasn't any around. But still, to know that you can reliably crush some of the fastest cars on the road using regular old 93 octane has got to be a pretty cool feeling.
