will someone explain to me the difference between

wheel and crank horsepower on our 991.2 turbo s cars

so what do our cars make STOCK at the wheels, while variation from dyno to dyno and car to car the "known" or accepted # by most?
and then say when GIAC or COBB list gains do they give gains at the wheels or crank? and if "they" say 65hp tq bump is that 65 at the crank or wheels??

thank you

A 17' or 18' turbo s makes 520-540 at the wheels depending on fuel octane (91, 92, 93) all slightly more than the 580 at the crank that is advertised. My car made 534 stock at the wheels with 93 in the tank, the shop says that's about 10 more hp than they get in Cali on 91. My car went from 534hp and 556tq to 646hp and 655tq on 93, on 100 704hp and 715tq, my car has Kline headers, exhaust, 100 cell cats, intercoolers and IPD intake. They added 112 wheel hp to my car, more than half was tuning, probably more like 70% That was COBB
