New 991 Turbo owner

Hi everyone, just introducing myself, just recently got my 1st 911, 1st 991 and 1st 911 Turbo. This is my 2nd Porsche as my previous car was a 2016 Cayman GTS which I still love as a pure drivers car but I needed more room for the family, and I missed forced induction *oomph* from my previous cars (Audi S4 modded, multiple turbo Subarus, as well as a couple N/A BMW M cars).

But I sold the GTS after coming into some cash and getting a really good offer to buy it, I started shopping around for various 991 cars, ranging from the Carrera 2S to GTS to Turbos. No GT cars for me as I wanted a well rounded street car that included the back seats.

So I ultimately found a good condition CPO 2015 base Turbo with 20k miles at a really good price, bought it and had it shipped over a few weeks ago.

Here it was in stock form

Since then I've already tinted, lowered it on GMG Turbo springs, and swapped the stock Sport Classic wheels (good wheels but not to my taste) with HRE FF04s

So far I can say I'm enjoying this car a lot and its a real pleasure to drive on the city roads, traffic, freeways with bottomless power on tap in any gear.

Can't wait to take it to the track and the canyon roads.

You made the right wheel choice, the HRE FF04's look stunning.
It looks like the next logical mod step would be a performance exhaust - if the time comes for that give us a call, I would love to be a part of this build.

Dropped car off at detailing shop over the weekend while I was out of town for work. Picked it up yesterday:

- Hexis film clear bar entire front clip
- Replaced the yellowed stock rear fender stone guards with custom cut guards from same film, better coverage and not visible
- Feynman labs ceramic clear coat
- Replaced stock chrome badging with black PORSCHE logo

That's totally up to your comfort level and how good/bad the roads, roads and parking lot entrances are in your area.

Looking great. Congrats and I like the choice in mods so far. When you need ANYTHING for the engine performance don’t waste your time with anyone other than Sambo. He is the best hands down with this platform. Seriously no one comes close. Also take it from me don’t goof around trying a bunch of different exhausts, just go get the Kline from Sambo. I promise and he guarantees it that you will love it or your money back.

Went to local South OC Cars & Coffee last weekend, parked next to a couple 991.2 GT3s, chatted briefly with the owners. My 30mm drop in ride height puts my car at nearly identical height to their stock GT3 machines.
