My new Turbo S, rock chip fiasco and warning to get PPF before you wind up in my mess
#31
In this case I did ok with the dealer - they wanted the same price as my local detailer for installing the PPF and because I was doing it as part of the delivery process I did not have to worry about a loaner or rental car while it was getting done - another two benefits - all the work on taking apart mechanical parts was done by certified Porsche technicians and finally I was able to include the cost in the vehicle financing
I guess there are pros and cons to every approach - main thing is don't drive your car on the road without PPF

Thank you Sam
After my by design Stage 4 997 Turbo this car feels like a slugo slow
I called my sales guy and told him this car is a toad after 100 mph it is like dead weight
This PDK trans really gets the car moving from the launch like nothing else but then it is just as much of a dog as the stock 997 was after 3rd gear
I am starting to plan out my phone call to you for Stage IV - LOL - (I have less than 60 miles)
Also - I am going to be contacting you soon to try the E85 again in the 997 now that spring is here
All the best
