Curious if anyone has done this?!?! I want to put the 991.2 carbon fiber steering wheel on my TTS; currently, the car came with the non-multifunction leather wheel (car has sport chrono). My goal is the carbon fiber 991.2 wheel with multifunction and heat . . . any chance this can be done?
I was told by my dealer that it was not possible when I bought a 991.1 GTS and wanted to ditch the button shift wheel for the PDK paddle shift multi-function wheel from a 991.2. What they did do in the deal is order me a paddle shift wheel and the stalks as I hated the button switch multi-function wheel. The good part is when I upgraded to a 991.1 TT I swapped as it had the multi-function button switch wheel. I think the airbag is also different.
