8.51 in 1/4 mile and 175mph trap - World's Fastest 991
To see a car look so clean and stockish run those times and traps ......just crazy man, just crazy!
Have you run from a street roll their silver 997.1?
That would be a killer video and so interested to see how it play out from a street roll.
Congrats again!!

No, Joe and I have never raced. I know better. He shifts faster than my pdk. :O
These huge carbon ceramics stop reliably and consistently from 200mph+. NHRA needs to update their rules to our modern cars.
Feels great! Emre has this tune dialed in. Just pulls and keeps on pulling.
Actually most tracks / NHRA rules say the laundry is needed if it traps over 150 mph.
Dave, has nobody given you a hard time about your trap speeds??
Awesome BTW!!

If I don't have a good launch, I lift to stay within the rules and try again.
The problem with NHRA rules is that they have not kept up to modern day cars. Not all cars are steel Mustangs. Our cars have aluminum floors that you cannot weld a steel cage to.
So it is not possible to make our cars NHRA compliant. They cannot possibly pass tech. Then they wonder why so many of our friends street race and don't save it for the track. The track cannot welcome us because of outdated NHRA rules designed for the lowest common denominator cars. Frustrating.
Yeah, I usually get nicely warned and then nicely parked for the day.

Agreed Sir!!
I figured they had to mess with ya a bit though.
Congrats Dave. Your car is just beastly. Shows all the effort and hard work. Your launch technique is really dialed in for the amount of power the car is producing. Real impressive.
Thanks, man!
