New member, considering the new 911 Turbo/GT3...need advice
I am fortunate to own both. I can tell you 911TT is an awesome car in every way and pleasure to own
GT3 variants are an unbelievable driving experience, when drive your in it it feels like a missile that you don't drive you just aim it!
As far as power either of these cars are not designed for a Drag strip A GT3 is plenty fast and it can scare you. The grip and handling is second to none. when you drive a turbo fast you can relax. In a GT3 your senses get sharpened and its amazing control gives you confidence. It is a driver's car for sure.
So make your own mind up and forget about this silly talk about power.

Those are not "silly power talk", it's not a matter of "remapping"/boosting power when you want to test limits of the gearbox up to 1000HP, it's a matter of buying your dream car/super car and get disappointed that it's lack of power/not fast enough.
Yes, iGT3 will sharpness your senses (mostly from 7K to 9K RPM right?, sharpness your hearing i guess), so is a Honda S2000/go kart/miata/v10 Audi R8
It's easy for someone that can go back and forth from both cars to say, but when you can only get one, and you expect a super car performance, "fun" and "plenty fast" is not enough, it's not "super".

If you want torque, serious mind blowing torque, the Turbo is the way to go, period. Add an exhaust, BMC filter and a Cobb Pro-tune and you will smile every time you slam the accelerator down. It is truly amazing. All the cars mentioned are great in their own right. The GT cars are more track orientated and if you plan to go to the track often, get a GT car, if you are primarily going to drive on the road, get the TTS. You won't be disappointed with either version you just have to figure out what your mission is going to be and pick the car best suited for it.
TTS with tune is the f rocket! None of the cars will beat that feeling! You will get that "respect feeling" when the side car stops bit far away from you leaving your car front ahead... It shows like they don't even think to try race you!
In other hands, GT3 is the different animal, the RWD is so attractive, and the 4L engine makes different noise, and with it you will feel more like in true race car.
So anyway, no matter which one you choose, ad the end you will want to have both!
