Yes full time is my understanding. The shorter front overhang of the 991 makes a giant difference IMO. The car is really manageable on driveways etc. I promise! Go for it!!!

That extra drop from SPASM is perfect. Great way to get it from the factory. I also think the Spoiler Lip that comes with SPASM is subtle but makes a big difference. Something tells me that will be a popular accessory purchase from Suncoast for the non SPASM cars (it's apparently interchangeable with the standard lip).

I agree that the spacers help, but think a more aggressive 14-15mm for the rear would make all the difference. I had 14s on my 997 C2S and it really helped the look. If only this GTS didn't have those Centerlocks, I'd had added 14mm spacers the day I bought it.

Great looking car any way you look at it. Enjoy.

nephew is infamous around these parts
FWIW, the 5mm spacer set can be had from suncoast cheaper than from the factory. as an added benefit, you get an extra set of lugs! (The spacers come with longer lugs.) The look is subtle, but i like it.

Great looking car. I had decided on the Aqua Blue but after seeing yours I am now not sure.

I would like to know if you did the PDCC.

Just sold my 07 GT3 and plan an October delivery of a 991S. Every dip had me thinking of a nose scrape in the GT3. You state in a prior post that with the shorter overhang, dips are much less of a problem. Have you scraped at all?

The other question is about ride quality. Does the SPASM make daily driving too harsh? Compared to a GT3?

Was tracking your car a consideration in the addition of SPASM?

Thanks,
fred

Fred, Get the DBM!! Great color, actually transforms depending on lighting conditions.
I did not get PDCC and don't feel its needed with the SPASM...see attached pic!
No Scrapes...really, you don't have to be a physics major to plan around driveways, dips etc.
Ride quality is excellent, firm enough, yet not jarring. Car never feels floaty. I had pss9's on my turbo and the same ride home in the 991 is worlds better. GT3 much more jarring than a 991 with SPASM...even sport setting is fine for daily driving, I'm starting to think the longer wheelbase is the key. Much more refined.
I did not get SPASM in order to track the car, I just love the stance and for $890 gives me the extra confidence when pushing the car in turns, with spending big $$$$ for the PDDC.
Let me know your impressions once you get you car!

Yes that pic is on the entrance to my driveway, funny I know exactly what you mean by "pinning" it on the way in and out!
I'm glad I opted for the spacers, subtle difference.
Post pics of your car! Congratulations!

well it is 1cm difference between PASM and PASM Sport, so go figure.

I'm sure mr dreamer can go find lots of other threads to go chime in on. He probably hates the fact that the folks here on 6speed lower their cars, or buy lighter wheels, are not able to get the full benefit of the changes they have made! Since he buys a porsche just to go back and forth to work, why not just buy some ordinary car for that purpose since he won't be utilizing the full potential of a porsche. I'm sure his "customized" harley is very well thought out and practical
:d+1
