Camber is infamous around these parts
Also stuck in RI

Mine was on the Carnation Ace too, and I just got a (non) update from my dealer saying it's still in PDIMON status and waiting transport. I'm naively hoping it's on its way and that the system hasn't been updated yet.

Mike: what's the status on your drivers class? How many miles do you have on the car and how have you broken it in?

Gerenb - I have not heard from you in a while. How is the car and how are you enjoying it?

I crosses 500 miles Sunday and hit sports for the first time. It was great. I have a few sqweeks, a ding, a reverb from one speaker - all small stuff that the dealer will deal with Monday. But the car is wonderful. You are going to love it - and even your extra weight, it is going to be worth it!

I should be good to go to the car control clinic on the 22d. There is an Autocross at Giant stadium on May 6 and the are going to DE at thunderbolt in south Jersey (where they run the Rolex series) on June 15-16. I have to get close to the 2000 miles by mid June so I can do that in sports+. Care to join in - it is all run by the Northern New Jersey Region of the PCA.

I can't wait to hear that you have yours and are enjoying it! Stay in touch!

I had a 3M clear bra installed by a guy with 10 years experience today. It's completely invisible. Pricey, but invisible.

I've been exploring the capabilities of the Burmester system the last few days. For pop/rock, it sounds the best in surround mode. The sound is truly excellent and even though the bass is very strong, I can't hear any door or dash vibrations. They really did a good job on this system.

I also used the voice control with the nav for the first time today. It didn't make any mistakes. The Bluetooth connection to my iPhone also worked flawlessly.

Progress - my dealer let me know that my Cab's status went to PDIMON (so now we have a window sticker) which confirms that Porsche has released the Cabs from the ports. My car was in Davisville (Rhode Island port) for four weeks as of today, let's hope it's gone by tomorrow. The dealer even asked to have my insurance company send the insurance card we have to carry in the US as proof of insurance - sounds like positive reinforcement.

That is great! Pictures! Sorry about the bad editing from my last post (weight instead of wait). Between my poor proofing and iPads bad guesses, it happens frequently.

Mike - will send pictures as soon as I have it. I have the same problem with the iPad, it always guessing wrong for me. Glad you like your car - I'll be interested in comparing notes with you once I receive mine, and also comparing these cars to the last generation. I am looking forward to the smoother ride from the GT3 - I loved that car but it could be annoying when you just wanted to relax on the way home. I use these cars as daily drivers during the good weather so I put a lot of miles on them, 50 miles per day commuting plus frequent 200 - 300 mile trips to other work locations.

I had a very good experience with a clear bra install last weekend also. A local shop named "All in the Details.". Did the "kit" plus the entire hood. If you did not know, you would not know. Had them put wax and sealer on for hood measure. The ding comes out Monday and I add clear side markers. I am still figuring out the electronics - seems to work well. But the Audi S4 a buddy has is far easier and better placed/integrated. That is a very nice car.
I should have gone with the Burmester - I will just have to wait for quality aftermarket and the Bose is OK, it is just not good.
In general, however - I love it!. I am glad you are enjoying yours as well! Stay in touch!

Congrats 19hole your car looks sharp in the metallic red. Very unique color combo. Looks like spring is in the air-enjoy and please report back on your experience with the 7spd manual. Glad to see everyone is finally getting their cars. Where is mine..........!!!
