Anyone's build beng finalized this week?
I am still in PDIMonroney status. The next status will be InvShipped. That should mean its loaded and on its way. Problem is, no one knows when that will be!
My dealer also indicated that there are a backlog of cabs at port and no one knows why (or at least they aren't telling me).
There is a rumor or speculation that they are held up to fix the fuel line recall (just a rumor). Oh well, if it doesn't come in a couple of days, I have a two week delay for my trip. The wait continues...

Is your car a cabriolet or a coupe?
I posted on the other thread the status of cabriolets as I heard from my dealer today - the will start releasing cars next week but cannot recognize revenue with PAG until April 21st. Not sure how the paperwork flows, but once they are released they can be delivered to their customers. Apparently this situation has happened before with new model rollouts. At this point no guarantees, but I am expecting to see my car Wednesday/Thursday of next week. Dealer assured me that there were no QC problems with these cars - I believe him.

It's a coupe. No one knows why there is a delay. Rumor was the fuel line fix, but not sure.
Also, my sales guy indicated that he saw the part to fix the fuel line and estimated it could be a simple 10-20 minute fix. Basically, it is a simple plastic sleeve to prevent chafing.

JB991, I am tracking the Nippon Highway just about to enter Galveston Bay now. You catcjh it on marinetraffic.com. Won't be long now. Unfortunately, I am leaving town Thursday AM and won't be back until late April 9, so I won't be able to pick it up until the 10th. It better be waiting for me when I get back! The wait is killing me!
Thanks Michael I appreciate it and soon I will join you with the 991 ...
Can you post a picture of the mustang I'd love to see it
Nothing sounds better then a mustang and this is coming from a guy who has had many Corvette's ...

. What happened?
Mine is still in RI at PDIMON. It took less time to build this car than it will take to move it the 1 1/2 hour drive from the port to my dealer! 3 days to build, 12 days on the water and now 8days and counting in port.
Coupe or cab?
