UK Top Gear TV -- 991 makes an unofficial appearance?

In the parking spot that I recall being Richard Hammond's, it appears that a new 991 is now sitting there. Am I right? From last night's Top Gear UK.

How does someone from NY get pictures of BBC parking lots? Cool picture BTW.

It could belong to anyone. There are more than 3 people involved in making the show.

Having said that, I'd be very surprised if they did not test the 991 on the current series. It is too important a car to ignore.

I saw it while watching and wondered if Hammond or May had bought a new one. But given that there's a M5 sitting next to it, maybe those are cars that they are in process of reviewing. I certainly don't see how TG can get through this season w/out including these two cars. How many more episodes remaining?

The first episode (Aventador, McLaren) was interesting, but I haven't been too excited about the rest of them. Maybe a 991 review will help save the season from my perspective.

I just recalled watching this piece: http://www.autoblog.com/2011/07/17/j...11-over-richa/ and noted where the 911s were parked. Obviously this doesn't guarantee anything at all about ownership, but I did find it interesting.

I watched episodes 18x05 and 18x06 yesterday. The piece on Saab was excellent.

They already talked about it in the news section. All three agreed 991 is no longer a true 911 due to electronic steering. They said the magic of 911 has gone. I don't think the first review will be a positive one... Especially from Jeremy.

Agreed, I enjoyed it as well. Hope the 991 will receive a worthy review.

I think it will. It's a great car. But I bet they will go down the road how it is no longer a true 911 and how the magic has gone...
