Cabriolet has arrived

After three months, I picked up my agate grey cabriolet yesterday - initial impressions are all very positive, need to be able to drive it hard to truly evaluate it against my 2010 GT3. Interior quality is excellent, electronics much better, I can tell that it has less low-end torque but difficult to judge without running the car hard. Very smooth - definitely need to use the Sport button if you not shifting with the paddles. Absolutely love the roof line, at night it looks like a coupe.

Primary options are the S model, PDK, sport chrono, PDCC, sport exhaust, 18-way seats w/ premium package, Bose, sport design steering wheel, 5 mm spacers. I already miss the ceramic brakes - forgot about having to clean the wheels!

All good - now that it's over, it was worth the wait! Here are some photos taken early this morning, light was not that great but you'll get the idea.

Wow she looks stunning!
Glad you were able to post some shots before taking of, thanks for sharing.
Although it's making the wait for my cab even more agonizing!

Enjoy!

Hey Newman congrats on the car! I got word today that my cab made its way onto a vessel (wasn't told which one though)

can you confirm whether the key can drop and lift the roof from outside the vehicle?

Quick question foe you new cab owners. Is a hardtop still an option? I don't see the caps at the rear like on the 996/997.

I will check but I don't think so, at least it's not immediately obvious if it can

I know the european cabs have this capability.

To try it out, I believe all you have to do is point the key near the drivers door (a couple/few feet away) and push and hold the unlock button on the key for 30-60 seconds and hopefully the top should drop.
