A quick question:
I notice your door doesn't have the 1" metal strip -- is there an option that needs to be selected? I've been lurking and reviewing the online configurator, but I haven't been able to piece it together...

It has been a week....
I hardly slept last Wednesday night..., not from excitement, but from feelings of guilt. 2 months ago I was really enjoying my Jeep, and I said I would NEVER spend more than $50K on a car to go from point A to point B. Even though I can "afford it," spending over $100K on a car just seemed so stupid and pointless. Well, I can say that after a week, the guilt has nearly vanished. I like the car more each day. She is at the shop getting the clear bra put on, and I miss her! I'm dying to take her on another drive....

I just picked up my 2012 platinum Silver red interior last week. I traded in my Ferrari f430. I made the right choice. The car is fun to drive.The shifting is unbeliveable. I have used it more in the last week than my Ferrari all last year.Congrats on your car. Pictures to follow

A couple of reasons:Other than oil changes and minor work I had to drive up to Toronto for service. That was my choice..I felt when I did sell it documentation from a Ferrari dealership would help the cause. Which it did. I started to have problems with the F1 shifting system leaking oil. unfortunately it happened twice. I just wanted a change and something I could drive on a more regular basics. Also the dealership is 15 minutes from my house which is a big plus for me. i still love Ferrari's ..the sound ..the looks and power. I will say this Porsche is just a real fun car to drive.
