Porsche thanks...

Hi Guys,

when i bought my ex-porsche, they sent me (after a mounth or so), a "Gift", maybe a welcome pack, dedicated to those who bought one of their car.

It was an alluminium "monolith" with on it a Porsche emblem and a plate who has engraved the frame n° and the model of the car you bought.

Well, i bought 45 days ago a wonderful Carrera S (Type 991), but nothing was sent to me this time.

Does anybody know, if they still send this kind of gift?

Not that it is "necessary", but it'll be nice to put on my desk another Porsche alluminium monolith...

usually the salesperson will get a little something for the customer. mug, keychain, hat etc. i doubt porsche na actually sends the paper weight anymore. it's a mass market car today compare to 15-20 years ago

Well, we gain in power, fuel consumption, speed and acceleration, but we lose in style and class...
...maybe now things go like this...but it's a shame.

My Alluminium gift was VERY WELL DONE. CNC machined, shiny and with a wonderful plate. I'll post a picture later on.

WON-DER-FUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just 2 days ago i ended my 2000 Km of "pay attention not to rev too up".

I did my first LAUNCH (Launch control mode). Less than 4 seconds i was at 100 Km\h, less than 12 seconds i was at 170 Km\h, all of a sudden i realized i was ON A MISSLE!

Ahhh, pratas, the best car i had in my whole life. I'd say, just perfect!

You will fall in love.

Forgive me, I don't know the chrono's capabilities. Did you get to measure / record that time on the chronograph or were you just looking at the time on the dial?

Well, you can't measure 0-100 Km\h with Sport Chrono (it'll be too difficult...). Was made by a friend of mine. Less than 4 seconds. I assure u.

Rev up seems to never end...higher and higher, till 7800, then BAM!, kick in the back and, inside the next gear...

Better than sex. (maybe ).
