Finally ordered a 991!

I finally took the plunge today and ordered a 991 carrera s coupe . I have dreamed of Porsche ownership since I was about eight years old...and having just turned thirty I thought I should treat myself. Seems like I will have to wait until November time (!) for delivery...but what's an extra few months when I have been waiting years!?

Ordered the following spec. I've just joined the forum but have been lurking for a while... think a lot of what I've ready has informed my decision but do let me know if there's anything you think I should have done differently. I probably went overboard but it's (relatively) cheap here and I didn't want to scrimp as this is my absolute dream car. Will be used as a daily driver....I might take it to the autodrome here in Dubai a few times but I'd want to be pretty careful and build up my confidence / competence first. Really looking forward to exploring the mountains around Oman at the weekends.

Here goes:

Basalt Black Metallic
Leather Interior in Luxor Beige
Trim Strips in a high-gloss finish (controversial but I like it)
Porsche Dynamic Light System
ParkAssist (front and rear)
Electric folding exterior mirrors
Painted headlamp cleaning system cover (probably unnecessary)
PDCC with PASM (considered without PDCC but think the lingering doubt would have killed me if I didn't get it)
Sports Exhaust
PDK
Sport Chrono
Power Steering Plus
20 inch Carrera Classic wheels
Wheel Caps
Tire pressure monitoring
Wheel spacers
Auto dimming inside mirror
Smoking Package (I don't smoke but I think it looks better)
Light design package
Floor mats
14 way sports seats with memory package
seat belts in luxor beige
Sport design steering wheel
Seat belt buckles in leather
Fuse box cover in leather
Extended interior package dashboard trim in leather
Rear centre tunnel in leather with decorative stitching
Porsche crest embossed on head restraints

I know you shouldn't wish your life away but damn...how am I going to wait until November?!

Thumbs up Finally ordered 991

Beautiful car..Did not see ventilated front seats ?? cool things down for you..
It will be here before you know it and well worth the wait...
Oh you might consider deleting the "carera s lettering leaving Porsche 911 ???

Thanks mate - Yep I've not gone for ventilated seats as I would have to get heated seats too and I didn't see the logic in the desert! Was hoping the a/c would be enough? I spoke to the dealer about the badging and we decided to wait until the car comes and change it around then...although more and more I'm thinking of just going for P O R S C H E on the rear and being done with it. Agree with most thoughts on here that the 'dictionary' is just way too much. I might give him a call this week to make the change...
