should I get this 991S?
Hey folks!
I highly consider to get this 2011/12 build 991 S in Taiwan. 216,000 MSRP new. Now I could get it for 189,000 USD with 800 miles. ( already a hit on deprecation so it won't drop much more when I plan to sell it in 1 ~ 2 years ) I will trade in my M3 for it. I like the M3 but it is dated in and out. It's spacious but I never really use the rear seats. It would be nice If I could fit a 30" Rimowa and a carry on on the 991.
Options:
Racing Yellow
Black leather interior
PASM Sport Suspension
Power Steering Plus
Sport Chrono Package
PDK
ParkAssist (front and rear)
Electric folding exterior mirrors
Sunroof
Porsche Dynamic Light System (PDLS)
Power Sport Seats (14-way)
6-disc CD changer
Bose
Bluetooth
Lighting package
instrument Dials in Black
SportDesign steering wheel
Wheel spacers, 5 mm
Wish it has sport seats plus, pdcc, and burmester.
No auto dimming mirror in and out!! Pretty ridiculous dealer didn't pick this option. Is it possible to retrofit it??????????
Thanks for any inputs!

It is a lot of money either way. Great car-I love mine. I purchased my last car (997.2) used from the dealer with 2500miles on it. However, it was a car driven by the service manager for 6 months ( higher level people at the dealerships in the US often get to order or drive a car for 6 months and then they get another). It was great for me. It got titled as new, and I got the warrantee. But I saved about 25%.
If it is a demo car, however, one used regularly to give test drives, I would never buy it. They hit the engine hard on test drives - no break in period at all. That would be cause for concern for me long term. I would make sure you know what you are really getting and how long you will keep it. If you plan to sell before the Warrantee is up it may be ok to take the risk. If the car is worry free, you might decide to keep it with more confidence. Just my opinion. Good luck!

it is really more that the US pays the crazy prices. just go look at some other country prices & u will see North america steals these things.
as Asia gobbles more production i think the US (and by default Canada) prices go up. then again, they could just jam production!
