Footwell leak.

Took my cab for a nice long drive today. It was in the high 80s and humid. About a mile from home I felt liquid dripping on my lower leg. It was oderless and not oily, so presumably it has water from the air conditioning.

Has anyone else had this problem?

it's the AC condensing in the vent above your feet.... had this in 997.2 as well when very humid outside... especially with windows open.

look at the vent under there, its like a box.. so condensation builds up and you turn/accel and comes out.

wait till it's humid but cold and you have AC on max.. "smoke" will come out of the vents...

SBA911 is infamous around these parts
Perpetual issue in my 997.2. Mostly due to leaks from the drains (easily clogged up by leaves etc) vs AC. IMHO neither issue should ever be present in any cars, never mind those of this class.

Thanks for the responses. I don't think the drains are clogged with debris. The car only has 600 miles on it and lives in the garage. It seems that this is something that should have been sorted if it had been an issue on the 997. Not sure if the A/C systems are the same as the 997, but my 987 never had this problem.

Maybe the AC drain tube was left off. It sounds like something the dealer needs to address immediately before you get mildew.
