Is there a mod to the PCM where we can watch DVDs on the screen?
Not in the USA....the government will not allow it.
For the older PSM 2.1 system there was a third party (NAV-TV I think) that made an interface that would allow you to connect an external DVD to the system and watch DVDs. It was intended to be used with an E Brake interlock that prevented the DVD from playing unless the E brake was on. Pretty easy to bypass if you wanted to.
Not sure that they make anything for the 991 though.

You need a video bypass module. They're generally available for aftermarket systems and some OEM systems. Since the 991 is so new, I'm not sure if there's an aftermarket solution yet. As mentioned, I'm sure it's against the law in most places -- but then again, so are tinted windows.....
