Loving the Drive
Wheels
I am pretty sure the wider tires are fitted to only the Sport Techno wheels because they are a half inch wider wheel. Noticed the 305s are sold as part of the Sport Techno upgrade from Sun Coast, so I'm guessing it is a factory package. Was at the dealer today and all the cars there were 295 and std wheels. It's a theory...
Did anyone ever confirm this theory.
I'm in the middle of changing my Sport Techno's to Carrera Classics on a C2S, but wouldn't want to compromise on the size (305 vs 295).
Thx
It seems like most 991s are sold in S trim, at least amongst the forum community. Congrats on yours.
I agree 991 is a great platform. It drives well and even sounds better than 997 by far. I do find the interior a little too civilized and lacked old school charm. Minor but enough for me to sway towards a used 997.2 when considering price difference. If I were to spend more than $90k on a P car, I would go with a used GT3RS.

Yes, Porsche puts 305s on the Sport Techno Wheels and ONLY on the Sport Techno Wheels as the rear width of them is 11,5" ... all the other 20" options have a 295 rear section!
