They are nice but kinda stock-ish. Lots of people like stock type wheels but when I spend big bucks on wheels, I want them to clearly look custom.

I'm on the opposite side of the fence here. I think the art to designing aftermarket wheels is to make them look as if they could be factory, but better. I just ordered some wheels for my GTS (sorry CEC, different manufacturer) and specifically wanted wheels that had an OEM-look, but with more aggressive offsets. I've seen many wheels that are obviously aftermarket (step-lips, for instance) that look good, but aren't what I want on mine.

BTW: these wheels look pretty good. I remember seeing a similar set from a Sharkwerks thread on a 997: https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...uspension.html

Funny... I thought of the same thread when I saw these photos, but I like the CECs better than the others.

I think they are one of the few after market wheels to look stylish and luxuous on this car. Well done!

Nice find, we actually sent those wheels to Sharkwerks. They are also CEC c882 forged wheels but in a matte black/anthracite finish.
You guys can check out the c882 on other 991's and 997's as well as some other cars. http://www.cecwheels.com/gallery-c882-forged
