+1 Meguiars will ruin the rims with that "film" it takes more than a scrubbing to get it off. DO NOT use Meguiars

I just go to costco, buy a bag of those yellow microfiber whatever they call it car wash towells and just wipe the wheels down once a week with that meguires quick detail. I have matte black HRE's, seems to be easy to clean as long as I wipe it down once a week.
