FVD Brombacher - Any Experience with them?
FVD Brombacher - Any Experience with them?
Does any one have experience with FVD Brombacher? I am exploring exhaust options for my base 991. I took a car from stock and it did not have PSE. The car is leased so I am looking for something that I can easily remove at lease end. I want a more aggressive sound and FVD has one of the few after market muffler systems available for the 991. I can't seem to find much information about them and their exhausts. Anyone have any experience with them or ideas for other mufflers? My Porsche dealer quoted me over $5k to install PSE and I don't want to do the Gundo Hack on a lease.
Thanks

I don't have their product on my turbo (I have Tubi) but I can attest that FVD/Brombacher is a class act. I believe one of the key people there is Rhonda, and they offer up some terrific, quality products. Speak with them before you go any further and get a feel for what they may have for the 991.

I have the FVD/Brombacher Sport (Loud) exhaust on my turbo and it is awesome.
As you may know the trubo stock exhaust is very muted and so I was looking for something to amp it up.
The exhaust completely changed the character of the car in the best possible way.
A neighbor has a Ferrari and the general opinion is that the turbo soulds better!
And yes, Rhonda rules.

Installed today. It looks and sounds great. Louder than I expected. Props to Speedsport Tuning in Danbury, CT for the excellent job. I'll try and post some audio/video clips in the next few days.

BTW how's the fit?
Any rattles, pings or "farting"?
