Just figured out how to turn off PCM

Not sure how many of you out there knew/know but I wanted to share on what I just found out after owning the new 991 for 3 weeks. It always bothered me when I pulled out my iPhone after turn off the engine as the radio vol too loud. So I had to turn down vol before I leave the car.

All you have to do is hold the vol button for few second then it's off

Obviously I don't like reading the manual

you are now officially "THE MAN"

I've had the car since June and when I could not find how to turn it off in PCM book, I asked the dealer...neither the dealer nor service knew how to turn it off....

Now, thanks to you...I know how.

Thank you!

You can also push the volume button for just a second and it will mute the radio.

Only downside is that when you turn off PCM everything goes off. I had hoped they would have left the Bluetooth link so the phone link was still active...

Good find Tachyon. Turning off the PCM this way also sticks when the car is restarted. Muting the PCM source audio still does not.
