It happened on my test drive. I didn't like it and hope there is a shut off for it.

You can turn it off by hitting the stop/start button or putting the car in sport mode. I didn't particularly like it either during my test drive, but it's really grown on me.

Agreed, but I must say it is so smooth when it's running I hardly notice- unlike my 2009S.

PS: I also enjoy the coasting in the PDK using the extra up-shift.
