The Boxster is a manual. Look at the stick and gear change through the speedo reflection in min 0.32.

KevinC is infamous around these parts
I wanted a 911 since 1974 so when I bought a Porsche it was the only car I really considered. Not saying that is a logical way to spend $115k, but that's how I made the decision and I love the new 911. Having said that, about a year before I bought my 991S I had the opportunity to track a 911, Boxster and a Cayman at a dealer event. I thoroughly enjoyed the Cayman as it is a true mid engine and can't wait to see the new one. I haven't driven the new Boxster but it does look great. You can't go wrong with any of them.
