Marina Ace has sailed...anyone's car on it?
I am waiting on my 981S which is on the Marina Ace, car was completed 9/5. Dealer did a good job on keeping me updated with build status, but was weak with shipping details. On my part I researched the different car carriers that serviced the Port of Houston. Then watched for those ships around the world. I saw the Marina Ace was just coming into port at Emden and kept an eye on it while it was in port, including when it left. The day after the Marina Ace left Emden, dealer calls me to tell me car was loaded on a ship, but that's all they knew, told me he would know if 5 days what ship car was on. So while not 100% sure, 99.9 % sure my car is on the Marina Ace, due into Port of Houston on the 26th of September. Good news, bad news! After all the time waiting (order placed in April), I'm going to be out of town when ship arrives, and will probably not be here when car arrives at dealer!
I am In Brunswick now, gazing at the ocean and I see nothing. Marina Ace was scheduled to arrive today but Marine Traffic doesn't show her in range yet, I hope it's not delayed or worse!
I have been waiting so long, what's another day or two... Aaagghh

Getting close!
I am here for a few more hours, perhaps I will get a glimpse before I leave! My dealer is in Jacksonville, FL, only 90 mins away, so hopefully it won't be long until its ready for delivery! (re-delivery
My guess is our cars are unloaded tomorrow morning.
Hmmm I was reading somewhere that it depends on how often he ship transmits its aid signal. I'm just confused. I do think you are correct in that the vehicles get unloaded tomorrow. Do we reckon a week to get to the dealers? Mine is in Chattanooga.
I think my car is on the Marina Ace and I have been tracking it. I notice http://www.marinetraffic.com/ais/ and http://www.vesselfinder.com/ both show the Marina Ace as due into Brunswick at 7:00PM (EST) on 9/23.-If I converted the time correctly.
The Marina Ace was originally scheduled to arrive at the Port of Houston http://info.poha.com/vtraffic/arrivals.html on 9/26 but yesterday they changed the ETA to 9/28. I don't know if the POH originally made a mistake on the ETA or if the ship is running two days behind schedule. The ETA into Brunswick may also have been changed?
For you that have a car being unloaded in Brunswick, please keep up with and post the time it takes for the car to be unloaded, delivered to the dealer and how long it takes for the dealer to prep it and call you to pick it up.
It looks like mine will arrive in Houston on a Friday. My thoughts are that the weekend will delay the process of customs, paperwork and the delivery to the Houston dealer. However, my salesman said the dealership may get the car, the next day, on the 29th. Anyone with Houston delivery experience?

My dealer in Virginia, about 650 miles from Brunswick, is very confident I'll have the car by Saturday.
But I think he hopes that is true, so he can book the sale this month. We'll see.

The Marina Ace has now disappeared off of the Marine Traffic website. On the Vessel Finder site, it still shows it out of range and heading toward Brunswick. (At 7:00AM CST, 9/24) Maybe the sites don't show the ships while in port?
