Yeah the kit comes with the chrome dividers (the pic is of someone selling the set after taking out the PSE and some other things he needed).
So those little chrome suckers will basically cost ya 240 bucks... not that this price point is going to be an issue for anyone buying a brand new 991 but still it's the principle.

BTW you're right the buttons are indeed screen printed.
That said I do find any type of alternative rub-down transfer just doesn't look the same as the stock ones (even if you put a fine coat of satin clear over it...).
But I'd love to be proven wrong!

edit... oohps just noticed the Q. re; DIY, I imagen it can't be to difficult but rather than taking a chance at scratching/breaking anything I'm going to have mine done at the dealer and just pay attention at how so I can do it myself after.
