PSE in normal vs PSE in Sport Plus
I have tried it briefly in Sport mode but if my recollection is correct, it is no where near as racy as Sport Plus.

I'm sorry to say that the fuller, deeper exhaust note with the abundance of burbles and popping is primarily the result of the richer fuel settings one only gets with the Sport Chrono Sport+ button... the sport button give you a bit of that but I found there wasn't much difference with it on or off, not so with the Sport+ button...it truly does become a different car because it changes the suspension, ignition timing, throttle response and a whole lot of other ECU settings.
However there are 2 alternative.
1. get the car chipped, costly but it'll be like a Sport Chrono on steroids.
2. "Sprint Booster"... very cheap (about 300 bucks) but will only give the quicker throttle response and richer fuel setting.
It will not recreate the intentional "ignition skip" on the over runs or shift points (as far as I know), but you can very much feel and hear the difference.
Just forget about your fuel economy and get ready to have the oil consumption shoot up as well (my personal experience).
Hope that helped.
Cheers.
OMG. this is sad to learn that I won't get the pops and burbles without sport+
I didn't opt for sports chrono in the first place because I do not want rev-matching. (MT)
Hopefully just PSE in sport mode can satisfy me since the sound thing is kinda subjective anyways.
