rnl, that's too bad, considering lots of other vehicle companies are using aha too...disappointing news. i wonder if in the future, pcna might change the interface to something more useable. i'm hoping that having the online services software will accomodate these upgrades later...we'll see.

My thoughts exactly oldman40. I got the option hoping that it would be more useful down the road. I installed the app in my iPhone 5, it works but I've not done much with it yet. Was waiting till the car got here to test.

Works on 4S. Haven't spent much time sorting through the options, but initially, it seems a bit clumsy to set up for my interests.

For me, it is an app on my iPhone, that connects wirelessly through the auxiliary mode with my Porsche stereo. Similarly with Pandora, or other Internet radio apps. I guess it works through bluetooth, like it does with the telephone.

Has anyone who ordered online services tried it yet? Wondering if there is a diff if you have online services and use the app compared to those who use it but don't have online services.

There is no interface in the PCM when I plug in my iPhone 5? Does the dealer has to upgrade the PCM software?

You need the online services option. Porsche has yet to make that available as an add on option
