"Home Lights"

Hi all,

The LED Lights (Day time running lights) only light up on the driver's side after I have switched off my engine, with the ignition key still left inside and with the lights **** left at 'intelligent' mode. Only after I take out my car keys do both LED lights turn on.

Is it normal for the LED lights to light up only on the driver's side with the ignition key still left in the car?

Appreciate if someone could help me out here. Thank you

I think it's a reminder to take your key out.

Or perhaps you left the turn signal on.

Not really sure, but something tells me it's normal, even though I've never seen it before or heard it talked about. Porsche I'm sure will have a creative explanation for it.

Hi All,

thanks for the help. Apparently the dealer said it was a 'reminder' for you take out your car key. Hence the LED strips light up only on one side.

Weird but ... oh well! Have a good weekend ya'll

Hello! Thank you very much, apparently they said it is a reminder to take the keys out, my turn signals are all kept in the neutral position. Does it apply to your car too?

It is a safety light called a parking light If you depress the turn signal with the ignition off it will light the corresponding side.
