It's all the time provided the car hasn't been out in the sun for a while. Then it's harder to hear, but it's there.
The only thing to silence it is to open the driver's window. Which isn't really silencing it so much as covering it up with other noise.
My car was manufactured in May 2012.

just took my car back from the dealer today for the same issue, this was the third time i take it in for the rattling glass roof, they fix it every time but it comes back.i was told that the edges were filled with dust, no wonder i live in the middle east so am in a worse situation than you guys
