Just intalled Fabspeed X-pipe, chrome tips and carbon fiber exhaust. It sounds great!!! I will post a video soon. The guys at Motorwerks here in Houston are fantastic!!!!

 

Nice, but still not too sure about the Intake, its Hot air intake :0

 

This is going to sound dumb.... Keep in mind this is my first P-car... Intake is bad?

I was going to go down the cold air intake path until a bunch of members pointed me in the direction of the 997 forum where this is discussed at length. Search cold air intake and you will see.

 

if it wasnt a hot air intake, you'd see Fabspeed responding!!!

 

There's a heat shield....spoke with Jeff at Fabspeed about quad tips for the PSE and asked him. Looked at the photo on the site and sure enough, there's a heat shield.

if you can isolate any difference in performance or sound with this higher flow, cold air intake please post.

seems like a lot of money without a good set of performance numbers.............it does look great though if thats what you want IMO.

For whatever it is worth.... The equipment in th epics above have been on since 1/24. There is a difference in sound for sure and I like it. Most all that have heard say that it sounds great!! Some have also said that they can hear a suction sound... Keep in mind that I am not the most techy person around so, not sure if this makes much sense or not.

I think I can feel a a slight power lift though some of the power bands... But who knows as I am just a newbie to this stuff...
