Winter Driving me NUTS!! Few Pics

Winter is getting the best of me , especially since I took delivery of my car in the middle of September and put it away for the winter in November. Finally saw a little sunshine today, so decided to pull her out of the garage and take a few pics. Hope you don't mind me sharing. . . . Posting these is kind of like Therapy for me since I can't drive . Car is a '13 C2S, GT Silver.

Mr Hill, you have way more willpower than I do! I could not let that gorgeous car sit for months in the garage! Great pics!

Why not just apply the right protective products and drive it?

Weather reminds me of growing up in North Dakota ....not sure which is better- constant rain (Western WA) or freezing everything?

Great looking car!

Haku, it better be March!! Birthday is in March and it would be an AMAZING present to get to drive. . . JUST DRIVE. I just hope the weather improves so the sand and crap they put on the roads for snow/ice is swept up by then. Fingers Crossed! Thanks for the compliments on my photos. No where near the quality of yours, but the best I can do in my driveway.

What can I say? I'M ****!! To the point of OCD, mostly with my vehicles. I've learned to embrace the OCD .

Thanks for the education on posting full size pictures. As soon as I get to an actual computer, I'm going to put that education to work .

Thank You for the compliment. Will Power is TORTURE! Sometimes I wish I didn't have it, but I just can't let myself drive it with all the sand and gravel on the road they put down for snow/ice. It just beats the living crap out of cars here. It's usually not that bad here in Boise, ID. This is a very unusual winter. Last year we so little snow, they never had to put anything down on the roads.

I actually do have all the Protective film applied and infinite coats of wax. As I mentioned above, I'm just to ****. The thought of driving it with the roads the way they are, with sand and gravel, makes me cringe.

I spend quite a bit of time in Washington and N. Dakota for work. I'd take Washington 100 times over. Thanks for the compliment.

Your car looks great and yes, you're right snow and ice are our enemy (without the proper winter tires).
Look at it as a good opportunity to apply a coat of sealant or wax,,,,,or both.
Hopefully, Spring is not far off

Your car is beautiful! I'm in the same exact boat as you are. Hopefully we'll have a decent March so we can get things rolling for spring; I still need to add 1400 miles for break-in.

Having driven the Boise roads before in winter (also summer but that's easy) I get it why your 991 starts its life in ID in the garage.

Not too much longer though and you you will have it roaring north through Bellevue, Hailey and into Ketchum/Sun Valley. When you do take some pics and share with us the fun you will have doing that.

Beautiful 991 and also love the GT Silver.
