Rejoining the 911 fold soon! :)
The big R8 "deal" right now is the 2012 V10 spyder with manual transmission. Other than cosmetics (new headlights and tailights etc), there is no difference between the 2014 v10 manual spyder and leftover new 2012s MT R8 spyders (there is no US 2013 R8 model). The discounts are averaging about $20-25K on these new 2012's, which put the car in about the same range as a well equipped C4S cab. I mention the spyder because although the leftover MT 2012 coupes are being similarly discounted, the 2014 R8 coupe is optionally available with a 550 hp V10 engine (called the V10 Plus, either with dual clutch S tronic or MT), which is not available in the spyder.
I hope so, lol. It was listed at *sold* on there yesterday and I can't see it now. It's getting clearbra'd next week sometime.

. Next R8 should be interesting. Competition is always a good thing.
