I figure I would break up the red interior a bit (too red in my opinion), so I bought a set of mats to match the interior roof lining, what do you think? (Much cheaper than paying the $$$ deviated carpet option)

Much nicer with the black mats. Breaks up the red nicely... As nice as the red is, maybe was a bit too much with red mats.

 

Looks nice. I bet it looks great when sitting in the car, and your eyes tie together the black roof liner and the black floor mats.

I am thinking about doing the reverse. Adding Red floor mats to an otherwise all-black interior. It is a little too dark....needs some lightening up. I just wish I had something else red to tie it together, like red seat belts. But I have no interest in spending a grand on swapping out the seatbelts.

 

Great mats, love the red trim. Even though they are black, they bring out the red interior.

Those are Lloyd Ultimat Mats for 2012+ 991 C2S, you can get them from many places online (around $170's for a set of 4). There are tons of colors to choose from, trims and various Porsche logos.

 

great choice. I would have been in the same boat about it being a little too red. Plus the logo on the black one is more pronounced

Just checked this out - there's 15% off the $168 for set of 4 inc the embroidery - which seems good. A couple of reviews by 911 owners said the clips did not line up with the OEM carpets.....has anyone with a 991 installed these?
