I ordered a 2013 C4S, now it comes with a 305/30/20 rear tire.
I want to use 19s for the track, since 18s won't fit on the 991. Now no one makes a 305/35/19 tire, my options are to go 295/35/19 or go wider, like a 315/30 or 325/30. I'd prefer to go wider, but if I have to I'll use the 295/35/19 and get a more aggressive wheel to push it out.

Can I go 325/30/19 out back and use a 255/40/19 or 255/35/19 up front? Or what size do you guys think would work well together? PSS comes in 295/35/19. There are a lot of tires that come in 305/30/19, but that will be pretty short compared to the 305/30/20 tire that is OEM.

I could throw a pair of Corsas on the 20s, but they are extremely expensive tires, so its my last option.

Most likely going to get a set of BBS FIs or Volks when they release them for the 991 C4S.

 

Any thoughts?

I have a similar dilema, not sure which way to go.

 

Dunlop SportMaxx Race comes in 265/35/19 and a 325/30/19. I think I might try it for a track set up. The sizes should be OK for the AWD system on my C4S. Not sure if the front will rub. Planning on adding some camber up front.

These sizes have not been officially released, I think you can only get AMG C63 sizes from the Tirerack.com

Hopefully BBS or Volk will start releasing some more wheels for our applications.

 

Seems like the 991 GT3 will get Dunlop Sport MAXX Race, 245/20 front 305/20 rear tires.
Not sure about the 20" applicate for a GT3, but shows that this tire has potential. Im also surprised they front tire is a not a bit wider, and the exact same sizes as my C4S.

 

Tirerack has more sizes of the Dunlop Sport Maxx Race now listed, sizes that will fit the 991, but they are crazy $$$$. Most likely looking at over $2000 for a set.
